I did all my testing on 3 different CAT6 ethernet cables. A 10 ft, 15ft & 50 ft cable were used to test, and they work well.

Where have you been all my life. This makes long and winding cable runs so much easier. And being able to easily test for bad switch connectors is priceless.

It can test not only wires mapping in the cable but also the length of the cable. This function is very unique, and I was surprised by the precision of measurements. I tested it on short (1 m) and long (30 m) cables and the tester detected the length without any problems.
